God’s mission for our world is to see people from every nation, tribe and people gathered around Jesus Christ as Lord. God’s harvest field is vast, and it needs workers.
The mission for St Jude’s Traineeships is to discover, develop and deploy gospel workers to God’s harvest field in Melbourne and throughout the world.
St Jude’s Traineeships provides trainees with a broad range of ministry experience to equip them for service and discernment of gifts to help determine future ministry directions.
The Ministry Leadership School is the latest in a long line of ministry strategies that St Jude’s has embarked on since the 1970’s and before, to seek to be involved in God’s work of building His Kingdom.
We are excited to be able to offer, not only a Traineeship program, but a more inclusive and extensive program of equipping all of our church members for ministry in the service of God.
Whether it be serving morning tea or leading services at St Jude’s, ….
…being a faithful witness in the workplace or engaging biblically in the world around us, …
…serving in God’s work somewhere else in the world as a disciple of Jesus,
we want to equip everyone to be faithful stewards of the responsibilities He has given each one of us.
We are hoping also that many of these men and women will go on to long-term vocational Gospel ministry at St Jude’s, elsewhere in Melbourne, and throughout the world.
We want to see everyone equipped and faithfully serving God wherever they find themselves in the future.
