Kids Ministry
Who We Are
Alongside parents, we want to reach and raise kids to be fully devoted followers of Jesus. From creche to year 6, we’ve got fun & engaging learning times where we engage with the Bible, experience God’s love, and wrestle with what it means for each of us to follow Jesus.
What We Do
Sundays
Both our Carlton 10am and Parkville 10am services contain age appropriate kids programs. After a short time in church worshiping God together with our parents, we go out to our age-appropriate learning times.
Creche & Preschool:
For kids who are 0-4 years old, we’ve got learning times that include great bible stories and simple concepts like ‘God made my hands and feet’. We have a story time, craft, play & socialising time, and of course, morning tea!
For this age group, we also have Playgroups for both Carlton and Parkville campuses during term time.
Prep to Grade 6
For kids in prep – grade 6 we start as a big group praying, learning memory verses in fun ways, and singing together. Then we split into small groups that help us cater learning time to the age and development of the kids. Younger kids have an interactive story time, craft and games. Bigger kids have a chance to dig deeper into the Bible and discuss what it means for their every day lives. All groups include morning tea.
In term 4 of each year, the Grade 6s move up to the youth programs.
