St Jude’s Director of Ministry Leadership School
St Jude’s is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced person to be the initial Director of our new Ministry Leadership School (MLS).
St Jude’s is aiming to significantly expand our training program by launching a Ministry Leadership School (MLS). Our vision is that the MLS will equip lay people for leadership in the life of the church and their vocational lives, as well as offering a pathway for people to step into ordained and other vocational ministries.
The director of the MLS will be responsible for advancing our existing ministry training programs, particularly our ministry traineeships, and developing a new MLS structure which integrates and initiates various training programs. The MLS will support St Jude’s members to consider and pursue vocational gospel ministry in Melbourne and the world. The MLS will also train church members for effective leadership in the life of the church and beyond.

Parkville Campus Minister
St Jude’s is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced ordained person with leadership and pastoral gifts as the Parkville Campus Minister. The Campus Minister will work with the Vicar, other staff and lay leaders to provide pastoral leadership of the ministries at our Parkville Campus. The Campus Minister will also oversee the Parkville Campus staff team currently comprising of an assistant minister, a children and youth minister, a music director as well as potential ministry trainees and student ministers.
The expectation for the Parkville Campus Minister is that they will be a godly and energetic leader, highly relational, an excellent Bible teacher, a strategic thinker, able to lead staff and volunteers, able to equip and develop others for leadership and ministry as well as have the capacity to grow and develop this ministry. Due to the level of responsibility this role entails, it is expected that applicants will have suitable previous experience.

Parkville Children’s and Youth Minister
St Jude’s Parkville is seeking a suitably qualified person with leadership and pastoral gifts as our Children’s and Youth Minister (part-time). The CYM (Parkville) will work with the Campus Minister, the wider St Judes Youth team and other St Jude’s Parkville staff and lay leaders, to evangelise, disciple and pastorally care for children, young people and their families. The successful candidate will think theologically about the role and ministry and have excellent personal and relational skills. The CYM(P) will raise up, organise and train lay leaders, develop appropriate structures to maintain and grow children’s and youth ministry, and contribute to a culture of excellent pastoral care.
The successful applicant will be working with a committed team in this ministry and will serve within the parameters of the St. Jude’s Code of Conduct and the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne Safe Ministry protocols and codes of conduct.
